Wi-Fi Controller – GGM WC256AP – Creating an Access Point (AP) Group
Requirement:
Your PC's network card must be on the same network as the Wi-Fi controller.
Go to your "Network and Sharing Center" on your computer -> "change card settings"
Right-click on the LAN network adapter (Local Area Network Connection) -> Properties -> Double click on Internet Protocol version 4 (IPV4)
Next, enter a different IP address than the controller's factory IP in order to be in its "subnet"
You can use the IP address range between 172.1x.0.2 and 172.1x.0.252
Depending on the LAN port used, you will be able to connect with your PC according to the administrative IP address
ID / Password: admin (To be changed on first login)

The controller enables centralized management and configuration of connected APs, with parameters including: Channels, SSIDs, transmit power, encryption modes and keys, AP coverage thresholds, number of access users, as follows:
Creating aa AP Group (Template)
Menu AC Management puis AP configure Template
Add a configuration with Add Template and enter the name of the template then Edit (pencil button)
Fill in your group's information, including:
- SSID: The broadcast name of your Wi-Fi network
- Encryption mode (Safe Mode)
- Security Key
Apply the same configuration for the 2 frequency bands (2.4Ghz & 5Ghz)
Integrate APs into the created group (Template)
Menu AP Management puis AP List
Select the APs and click Apply configuration Template by choosing the group you created.
APs are now configured and have retrieved the same configuration as your Template.
