[2022] 2023] Release Note – NVR GIGAMEDIA

Following the update of your recorder to a version 2022 and higher, it is possible that you will have to do some manipulations.

• After updating the camera ports will change from, 9000 to 80, a restart may be required.

• After the 2022 update and higher, on the GGM VIEW application and on VMS Pro, it will be necessary to edit the information of the recorder and change the media port 9000 for port 80. (see attachment if needed)

• If the admin ID has been changed, after the update, it will be reset to admin as login, so it will have to be edited in GGM VIEW, Surveillance client and GGM VIEW.
• The Reset button on the back of the device requires a long press and will perform a full reset of the device.

Playback compatibility – proofreading on web browsers

The 2022 version is now compatible with common browsers, Firefox, Chrome, Edge and New Edge for live and replay.

Port all in one

HTTPS, HTTP, Onvif, and RTSP ports are now all on single port 80.

System

• The admin user can no longer be changed and will be reset after the update, the password remains unchanged. If modified, the login "Michel Dupont", will become "admin" again.
• Up to 31 users maximum.
• Added user security option for logs, visualization, management restriction.
• Added hard drive slot numbers to the storage menu.
• Factory camera reset and remote SD card formatting.
