GGM WAPEXT24 - How to create a WiFi Bridge - Automatic Mode

1 - Power Both terminals, press the RESET button for 10 seconds.
    The digits describe a circle to display C007 : Client on channel 007

2 - Press the F Button once. The "C" flashes.
    Press the "S" button once. The "C" goes to the "H" Host. 


3 - Press the F button four times until the 4 digits flash.


4 - The modification is validated when the digits do not blink anymore :



5 - When one of the terminals is set to "Customer" and the other to "Host", you can start pairing by briefly pressing the RESET button below the screen. The display then shows a "P" followed by a point describing a circle :


This pairing can last 1 min 30s.


6 - Successful pairing : the two screens display "P" followed by a number indicating the power of the signal received from the other terminal :



In case of error message start again at the begining.


7 - Need other clients, maximum 4.
Example with two clients matched on 1 host.

As indicated in chapter 1, perform a RESET on the three terminals, then set one in "H" mode for "Host".


8 - As indicated in chapter 4, start the automatic pairing :




For a CCTV installation place the "Host" terminal on the recorder side and the "client" side on the cameras.


For a typical network installation place the "Host" terminal on the Box side.


        Terminal Checks :


after 5 minutes the terminal screen goes out but you have the possibility to retrieve the terminal parameters at any time using the buttons: "F" and "S"


1 - Press the "F" button once, the display shows the Host or Client mode and the Transmission Channel. Here Client on channel 001 :

To change the transmission channel press "F" to make the digit to be flashed. Then press "S" to increment the digit to the desired value. Apply the same channel on all terminals.

2 - IP address : Press the "S" key once. the display shows an "A" followed by three digits X, Y and Z. The IP address of the terminal will be : 192.168.188.XYZ.


The host terminal retains its default IP address in .253
The client terminals take a random IP on the same network at the time of pairing.

3 - Received power : by pressing the "S" key twice you can visualize the power of the signal received by the terminal.
